How to Update Your Firmware
Firmware is the essential software that controls your Shot Scope device. Updates are released regularly to introduce new features and fix any issues that could impact your Shot Scope experience.
When a firmware update is available, you will receive an email notification from Shot Scope. Follow the steps below to update your firmware:
Updating Firmware on iOS:

Ensure Your Device Has At Least 25% Battery:
- Make sure both your Shot Scope device and mobile device have sufficient charge.

Log Out of the Shot Scope App:
- If you have the app open, manually log out (closing the app doesn’t log you out).

Log Back Into the Shot Scope App:
- Reopen the app and log back into your account.

Connect Your Device to the Shot Scope App:
- Make sure your Shot Scope device is connected.

Check for the Firmware Update:
- If a firmware update is available, the "Update Firmware" button will appear on screen.

Start the Update:
- Tap "Update Firmware" to begin the update. The process may take 15-20 minutes. Make sure your mobile device and Shot Scope device are kept in close proximity to ensure a stable connection throughout the update.
Tip: Keep the Shot Scope app open during the update to avoid interruptions. Ensure a strong Wi-Fi connection for the update process.
